Economic development in India has led to huge increases in energy demand, which in-turn has encouraged Energy Crop Cultivation and Methyl Esters Production Systems.
Due to the prospects of the industry, NOVA has proposed to undertake plantations of energy crops on 100,000 hectares of wastelands in India. The establishment of such cultivation will lead to income improvement in the country and create employment opportunities amongst other social and economic benefits.
